Easy proteins and summer’s best produce is what this week is all about! Kick it off with a summer berry salad, pepper-crusted pork tenderloin and homemade cherry balsamic dressing. Then follow it up with Cast Iron Skillet Steak, Southern Macaroni Salad and a zucchini squash casserole. And don’t forget the chocolate chip banana bread, watermelon and Orange Creamsicle Poke Cake. This Week’s Secret To Success
- The recipes in this week’s meal plan use the principle of balance, balancing with recipes that need a little more attention with those that are quick and easy. This makes sure your time isn’t a chore!
- I’ll be looking to my local farmer’s market for all of the produce. It’s so GOOD this time of year.
- I’m also looking at my recipes to find those ingredient overlaps, like watermelon. One watermelon should be plenty for both melon recipes this week.

- It’s plenty hot where I live, and that has me looking forward to cool, refreshing recipes like the watermelon bar and chilled avocado soup.
- Carve a third meal out of these recipes by prepping some Louisiana Peel & Eat Shrimp and serving it with the avocado soup!
- Serve the watermelon bruschetta with crostini as a fun option ON your watermelon bar and invite some friends over for a little porch catch up.
