This Week’s Secret To Success
It’s not enough to think just about what tastes good together when planning a meal (that’s a given!). We also have to think about which recipes work together to make the most of our time and energy in the kitchen.
Monday Menu does all that work for you, pairing up and making smart recipe choices so that we’re not just making a bunch of different dishes, but meals that work together to make the most of our schedules.
- This week, we’re letting rice do all the work! To keep it simple, I buy one large box of Minute Rice. Minute Rice is the perfect shortcut. It’s rice that has been par boiled, meaning it’s already been partially cooked for you.
- Along with rice, a lot of the other recipes share ingredients too– tomatoes, jalapeños, onions, bacon and cilantro. When you prep them for one recipe, just go ahead and prep for the others too. Then you’re ready to go!
- Shared ingredients make meal prep AND grocery shopping easy.
