What Is Coffee With Lemonade Called?
Lemon Coffee has quite a few names. My favorite is Laura Palmer (a wink at Arnold Palmer). A close second is Thunderbolt. And then there’s cafe mazagran- a sweetened lemon coffee native to Algeria, which is often credited as the original iced coffee!
But none of those are creamy- just black coffee and lemonade. And, for me, nothing beats a good coffee creamer. Add lemon sweet cream? Well, that qualifies as a love language, right there. So, let’s get to it.

How To Make Lemonade Coffee Creamer
Create Lemon Sugar. In small dish combine the zest of 1 lemon and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Rub the zest and the sugar together between your thumb and forefingers to release the oils in the lemon zest and create a lemon-y sugar mixture.
This step is our secret lemon flavor weapon! Releasing the essentials oils from the rind makes sure we get the most lemon flavor absolutely possible. So don’t skip this step!
Make Lemon Simple Syrup. In a small saucepan, stir together lemon juice and white sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Allow to come to a low boil, stirring occasionally. Add the lemon sugar, stirring to dissolve again. Allow to simmer for 7-10 minutes to create a strong lemon simple syrup. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract.
Whisk the creamer. Whisk the sweetened condensed milk together with the lemon simple syrup to create your lemonade coffee creamer.
Serve & Enjoy! Pour iced or cold brew coffee into a cup. Stir desired amount of creamer into your coffee and continue to stir until the creamer has melted completely into your coffee drink. Top with a dollop of whipped cream, mint leaves and a slice of lemon, if desired.

How to Store & Use Lemonade Coffee Creamer
This homemade coffee creamer can be stored in the refrigerator, if covered, for at least a week. This creamer does thicken and get quite stiff when chilled (it’s the condensed milk).
To make a great cup of coffee any time, just whisk, shake or blend the creamer into your cup of coffee until the condensed milk dissolves. If adding to iced coffee, I recommend whisking the creamer into your coffee before adding your ice. It’s just easier!
