Let this week’s Monday Menu meal ideas do all the work for you! With shared ingredients to make shopping and prep easy, you can make these two meals using almost all of the same ingredients! Wild Rice & Sausage Casserole with Spinach and Parmesan topped with puff pastry is homey and delicious while Tortellini Soup brings the comfort with short cuts and ease.
This Week’s Secret to Success
Why do I call Monday Menu meal ideas “meals that work”? Because not only do the meals:
- work for feeding a family,
- work all kinds of schedules,
- work for all types of skill levels in the kitchen,
- they also work together, meaning they play off each other/coordinate to make grocery shopping, prepping and cooking easier.
I want these these meals to be work horses in your supper repertoire, your secret weapons in getting good food on the table with ease no matter what your week looks like or who shows up at the dinner table.
So this week, I’ve picked two meals that pretty much use all of the same ingredients. With a little ground sausage, spinach, parmesan cheese, bacon and puff pastry, you can create these 100% delicious, but completely different meals.
These meals also offer a work balance. One requires a little more cooking, while the other is a quick meal. Work balance helps you fit cooking into your schedule and keeps time in the kitchen fun!
