- 2 C halved green grapes
- 1 C dried cranberries
- 3-4 kiwi fruit, peeled, halved and sliced
- 16 oz strawberries, sliced
Dressing
- ¼ C honey
- ¼ C orange juice
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ tsp ginger
Instructions
- In a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together ingredients for dressing. Set aside.
- Mix together chopped and sliced fruit. Pour dressing over fruit and gently toss. Serve immediately or cover & refrigerate before serving.
Pro Tips
- When chopping and slicing my fruit, I chop my apples last. This gives them less time to sit out in the air and turn brown.
- This is also why it is important to make the dressing first and have it ready to pour over the fruit as soon as you finishing chopping.
- Delicious add-ins: coconut and/or pecans

What can I use instead of honey?
stacey
Hi, Sylvia! I’m sorry, but I don’t have any alternatives to the honey. It is an important flavor in the dressing.

Patty
Will this be ok to make a day ahead?
stacey
Hi, Patty! When I want to prep this salad ahead of time, I’ve found this yields the best results: I prepare my grapes, kiwi and strawberries and refreigerate them separately in zip top bags. I also mix up up my dressing, cover and store. The next day, I put together all prepped ingredients, chop and add the apples and dress the salad! Hope that helps!
Melissa
Hi there!! Does the dressing need to be refrigerated after prepping?
Thanks so much!
stacey
Hi, Melissa! Yes, the dressing should be refrigerated just like you would your orange juice you would drink for breakfast! I know you’ll love this salad as much as we do. It’s so festive!
