Do the dog days of summer have you dreading dinner? Dread no more! This week’s Monday Menu family meal ideas use summer classics with crazy good twists to keep summer fun, zesty and just a little cooler.

This Week’s Secret To Success
- Summer is not letting up and neither are we! We’re leaning into the season with classic summer recipes like burgers and pasta salad… with upgraded twists to amp up the yum. And that’s just what’s needed when it feels like summer might be dragging a little.
- This week, we’re not wasting any fruit! Buy a fresh pineapple. Use the pineapple slicing guide included with the burger recipe to make cutting it up easy. Then use the whole pineapple-slices for burgers, fine dices for salsa.
- Use the tortilla recipe to scoop up that pineapple salsa recipe and any leftover burger avocado spread. Cut the tortillas into triangles and baker or fry them to make your own chips!
- Serve those pickles with the pasta and on your burgers for a little spicy kick!

Getting The Most From This Menu
- Make a few more hamburger patties than you usually do to make a burger bowl the next day.
- Instead of grilled pineapple, use any leftover pineapple salsa, avocado slices and chopped lettuce to fill your bowl with your hamburger patty.
- Add a few roasted sweet potato wedges to complete the meal!
