Fall is here! And that means that it time for pumpkins. But not just any pumpkins. It’s those white pumpkins that seem to capture our imaginations the most. And with variety names like Full Moon, Casper, and Baby Boo (oh my gosh, yes), who can blame us.
These white beauties were definitely the inspiration for the neutral fall tablescape, I planned with M&M Event Rentals for a showcase table this month. M&M rents all sorts of gorgeous table linens, flatware, stemware, China, tables, chairs, and a variety of lovelies to make your special occasions just about as fabulous as it can be. So when Morgan and I got together to plan, it was like heaven with all the options to choose from and play in.
For this table, we chose a rustic theme to really show off our white pumpkins. Our setting, antlers, and candlesticks really add just the right touch.
But what is a special occasion without a bit of sophistication? Our black and white table runner and splashes of gold take our white pumpkin table up a notch in class. We spray painted our little gold pumpkins and the gold stems of our white pumpkins to create that little something extra the table needed to tie it all together.
And who doesn’t love succulents? Little Hens and Chicks with pheasant feathers were tucked away in nooks and crannies like little sweet surprises!
What about that centerpiece though? Creamy white roses and rosebuds with green berries and baby pine cones are absolutely swoon- worthy atop our plump white pumpkin. (Check back because a tutorial for this centerpiece is coming soon! It’s actually easy to make, and you don’t even have to cut the pumpkin open.)
Center stage of our white pumpkin table certainly doesn’t lack for drama or interest, proving that rustic neutrals can be breathtakingly elegant with just the right touches. And while this table would be perfect as is for fall weddings, anniversary parties, event dinners, or other formal events, there are certainly tons of elements and bits of chic inspiration here that we could seamlessly incorporate into our homes and fall tablescapes this season.
