There is nothing that says community like a potluck- a dinner where we come together, share our food and a little bit of ourselves for a while. You bring your favorite dish, I’ll bring mine. We’ll line the tables with our best and favorites. And hope that so-and-so brings her signature recipe, the one that no one makes like she does. Here comfort food ties us together with the threads of fellowship and laughter that won’t soon be broken, certainly won’t be forgotten and will have us looking forward to next time we can share a dish.

This week’s Saturday Seven will help you pick the perfect potluck dish to share!

Question: For your Cornbread & Squash Dressing do you use Jiffy cornbread mix or something less sweet?

      Anita,

I don’t use sweet cornbread for that recipe. Plain yellow cornbread works best!
