We are heading into the week of the 4th of July! With so many things to be thankful for, it’s hard not to be excited about celebrating our great country and its independence.
How do you celebrate the Fourth? We’ve just about done it all over the years- traveling, camping, fireworks shows, cookouts, family and friends. One of our most memorable July 4th’s was spent at the St. Louis Gateway Arch- that wonderfully American salute to the growth of our nation and her pioneers.
But as my group has gotten older, we find ourselves spending our Fourths at home, grilling, playing board games and enjoying laughter and togetherness amid everyone’s comings and goings and work schedules. These times are just as sweet as any.
I hope you enjoy this week’s Coffee Break’s tribute to our nation’s independence and the all- American summer. So if you’ve got your coffee cup (like I do), then let’s get to it!
