Do you have your coffee cup? I do!

It’s New Year’s Eve, and what a way to spend the last day of 2018- together with a great cup of coffee (or hot tea, if you prefer)!

And what a great year 2018 has been! Our little community has grown, we’ve shared recipes, great tables, encouragement… hey, we’ve even started having these great coffee breaks every Monday morning! That’s big!

It has definitely been a blessed time together, and I could not be more thankful for you and the time we have spent together.

So I thought it would be fun to close out the year with a BRAND NEW sparkling recipe for New Year’s Eve and Day, an oldie but goodie that will help you get your greens in (tradition and all) and a little encouragement about taking Jesus with you into the new year!

MONDAY COFFEE BREAK: ENCOURAGEMENT, INSPIRATION & RECIPES

Monday Coffee Break : Encouragement
“He Quietly Beckons” is full of gorgeous photos of winter birds, small reminders of how God is always there with us, providing joy and hope. In our every day lives, however, it’s easy to miss these little feathered friends if we don’t take a moment to look for them. The same can be said for Anna and Simeon. Because they were actively looking for Jesus, they were some of the first ones to recognize Jesus for who He was when it would have been so easy to look right past Him. In the bustle of planning for the new year, “He Quietly Beckons” is full of encouragement you’re don’t won’t to miss!
Pomegranate Punch garnished with pomegranate fruit and lime.
Pomegranate Lime Punch is a BRAND NEW recipe that I am sharing here on the Coffee Break before I share it anywhere else! This sparkling red beauty is perfect for ringing in the new year and is so easy to make with just 3 ingredients! What a special treat for those you plan to kick this new year off with.
Coffee Break : Recipes
Eating your greens on New Year’s Day in the South is tradition. But there is more than one way to get those greens down! Spicy Queso Dip with Sausage and Collard Greens is a fun way to celebrate New Year’s and honor that time old tradition while you snack and party!

That’s it for this week’s Monday Coffee Break. Thanks for stopping by and having a cup with me.  Check back tomorrow as we take a look back at the 5 posts you loved most from 2018!
