Monday Coffee Break; Encouragement, Inspiration, Recipes

Do you have your coffee cup? I do!

It’s time to kick off our season of Christmas Coffee Breaks!  I tell you, I am so excited about Christmas this year.  It’s our first Christmas in the cottage, and while there is still so much work to do, we are excited about bringing this place to life with friends, family and all the Christmas cheer these walls can hold.  It’s time to unbox all those traditions that make us love Christmas so much and maybe even create some new ones.

Christmas possibilities are calling, so let’s get right down to it!

MONDAY COFFEE BREAK: ENCOURAGEMENT, INSPIRATION & RECIPES

Monday Coffee Break: Encouragement
It’s so easy to become overwhelmed during the Christmas season.  The to-do lists get long and obligations begin to pull us in all different directions.  If you’re like me, then you might even start to feel more crazy than blessed.  But the peace and joy of the holiday season isn’t just something that we talk about.  And it isn’t just something for others….  Or for fleeting moments when everyone is in bed and the lists are neatly checked off.  The peace and joy of Christmas is for right now!  Mary, Did You Know shares 3 simple Gospel truths that will help you ditch the overwhelmed feeling and enjoy this season for what it’s meant to be.

Monday Coffee Break: Inspiration

At my house, we enjoy a coffee bar all year long, but sometimes at Christmas we like to change things up and have a Christmas Hot Chocolate Bar instead, full of sweets and treats and special ways to enjoy all the best Christmas moments!  I am sharing all my best tips for creating a fun and easy hot chocolate bar to help you make the most of this season.  Now is the best time to extend some casual hospitality to your friends and family that is sure to warm their bellies and hearts.

Monday Coffee Break: Recipes
I love a breakfast that cooks itself, don’t you?  And I especially love that kind of breakfast on Christmas morning that way I don’t miss out on any festivities by being in the kitchen.  This Overnight Baked Gingerbread Oatmeal is the perfect Christmas morning recipe.  Made in the crockpot, these overnight baked oats cook themselves and fill your house with wonderful smells of gingerbread while you sleep.  There’s nothing like waking up to a warm house, filled with smells of baking and gifts under the tree!

That’s it for this week’s Monday Coffee Break. Thanks for stopping by and having a cup with me as we slowed down for just a minute and started our week off right– together!
