Do you have your coffee cup? I do!
It’s a rainy Monday morning at my house as a tropical depression hovers over most of the southeastern United States. Talk about gloomy. Makes me just want to crawl back in the bed. Isn’t it so true that a rainy Monday can just suck all the excitement out of a new week?
But I think we should decide together not to let the weather or our circumstances get us down. Throw those covers back, girl! Wet or not, the week is still out there, waiting for US to make something of it!
This week’s Coffee Break features were put together to get us moving and shaking. Firstly, there’s nothing better to do on a rainy day than to curl up with a good book. Whether you’re at home today or at work, schedule some down time and crack open the cover of one of the fabulous Top 20 All-Time Recommended Books listed below!
If you have teen readers in the house, they will love them too. Read them together! Each book has been rated a favorite by students year after year after year.
Plan to make the simple, but family pleasing Beef Enchilada Casserole. Have your own fiesta at home this Taco Tuesday! It’s easier than you think!
And lastly, there are times when we all feel a little useless, like we’re missing the mark, especially as parents. But Mom Guilt? It shouldn’t be a thing. No matter how badly you think you’re doing or what you think you’re missing out on, YOU were designed to be just what your family needs at this very moment! Check out 4 very good reasons to ditch the Mommy Guilt and start enjoying parenting.
