So on to the preview!
This ivory pumpkin caught my attention right away with its brown accents, stem, curved leaves, and flower. It would look perfect on a table, bookshelf, mantle, or grouped with other pumpkins! I also love the look of pumpkins on top of chunky candlesticks. Wherever you put this little gem, it is sure to sparkle.
I couldn’t believe my good luck when I stumbled across this burlap table runner. It has a ruffle on each end and is made of 100% jute. I have been looking for one of these forever. I can’t resist all of the Pinterest pins that have “give” or “thanks” stenciled on the edge. I left this one as is so you can stencil what you like, but it’s also gorgeous with no stenciling. Just in time to really dress up your Thanksgiving table, dining room buffet, or even the coffee table!
You can also see the little autumn nosegay in this snapshot. A slate blue hydrangea, pumpkin colored peony of sorts, seed pod, and pheasant feathers would look stunning in a blue mason jar or on any side table.
This next item just captured my heart. I recently sat down with Joyce Naylor, owner of Hammered By His Hands, who handcrafts copper jewelry. This piece is one of her latest one-of-a-kind designs. I love the hard metal juxtaposed against the soft, delicate pearls. It hangs from a long copper chain that is perfect for wearing with those fall sweaters and tunics. Isn’t it fabulous?
And every lady needs a sweet little tray to put her earrings or rings on at night before she goes to bed. Could there be a better partner for Joyce’s necklace? This delicate tray would also be so ladylike on a desk holding business cards. I bet you could find a hundred uses for it.
And don’t miss those little pumpkin candles. It is the little touches that can bring fall into any space in your home and make this season so special.
I can’t believe I found room in the basket for this, but I did! I knew that when I saw this cross that it would be perfect for ASD readers. It has a little loop on the back so that it can be used as a wall hanging or can be propped up on a mantle or bookshelf. Made of corrugated, distressed metal with a slate heart in the middle, it was just begging to be included in this giveaway.
Not to mention that the basket itself is special. Woven from heavy grasses with large circle handles, it is no throw- away.
I just couldn’t stop myself when I was putting together this basket. There was so much that I wanted to add that spoke of the season and was just that something special that you deserve. I know you are going to love this basket. So happy fall and happy reading and commenting. I can’t wait to see who wins!
