Do you have your coffee cup? I do!
I am so excited to be back to what will hopefully be a more normal schedule this week! Last week’s coffee break was pretty informal and only went out in a subscriber email. If you would like to be a subscriber, you’ve got the chance to do so way down at the bottom of this page. We would love to have you in a our community and you would never miss a post or Coffee Break!
I created Monday Coffee Break so that you and I could sit down with our cups of coffee in our homes or at our desks, take some time out and start our week off right together. And I LOVE these times every week!
The heart of Southern Discourse is to be a place where you feel at home, a place where you are encouraged and inspired, where the conversations are honest and make a real difference. And there is no better way to have those conversations than over a cup of good coffee.
So grab your cup, and let’s get going!
This week’s break includes:
- a great post from Kristen Welch at We Are That Family about real hospitality and The Gospel. I have been reading We Are That Family for years and have learned so much from Kristen’s perspective!
- Kristen is followed with a little inspiration for a Labor Day pool party. You’re going to be tickled by this very practical centerpiece that disappears as the party goes on!
- And lastly, I’m sharing a wonderful fruit salad recipe from my brother-in-law’s family. His family has been making the fabulously yummy sauce that goes over this salad for one hundred years!
