ASD’s One Year Blogiversary Gift Basket Giveaway!

    SONY DSC

It’s been a year.  A whole year.  We made it.  All of us.  Together.  Writing, reading, discussing, sharing ideas, memories, and encouragement.  And here we are!

I am so excited to share this one year blogiversary with you!  This year has been full of learning new things, doing things we never thought we would get to do, and meeting some ah-mazing people!  I am eternally grateful and incredibly humbled.  And I want to celebrate.  It’s time for one of ASD’s fabulous gift baskets to be packed up and delivered from my door to yours!

This gift basket celebrates these last days of summer that seem to slip seamlessly into autumn.  When the evenings are long and the light is golden.  When the days beckon us to savor summer’s last days, but schedules seem to pick up and everyone gets busy.  It’s these days that are perfect for a picnic.  Perfect for time purposefully set aside, for resisting the hurry of back to school and the routines of practices, games, and all sorts of other activities.

I was inspired by some of the picnics and picnic tips I found in this link —> http://carlaaston.com/designed/summer-picnic-ideas

They set my imagination turning with all sorts of possibilities and ideas– possibilities and ideas that I hope you can make a reality with this ASD basket.

Ah!  Navy and yellow.  One of my favorite happy combos.  This basket has everything to take your picnics from just eating outside to one of those dreamy, special moments you thought only existed on Pinterest.

In the basket, you will find place settings for two!  These place settings are made of mix and match patterns that make it seem like these are just pieces you casually pulled together with a flick of your wrist because you are fabulous like that.  Table linens trimmed in complimentary navy patterns are cheerfully tied off with a bright yellow napkin ring.

Stackable melamine plates in blue Aztec and punchy yellow polka dots can be used separately or together.

Drinks can be served in style with this happy pair of blue honeycombed stemware (plastic, of course), or you can mix up your favorite lemonade or sweet tea in this 2.15 gallon mason jar drink dispenser.

And check out this gorgeous cheese board hand made from plantation acacia wood.  No cheese board is complete without a cheese knife/spreader.  This sterling silver beauty with its bubble handle is just what you’ll need to serve up your picnic brie.

And let’s talk about packing that picnic.  It’s the packing that can really make it special.  Individual servings can be packaged in rectangle and small square boxes and topped with a “made just for you” label.  A navy and white canvas picnic basket, with metal handles and a zippered  pouch carries all your goodies.

Last but not least, there is an extra chambray table linen and the sunny yellow striped table runner to give your table that oh, so finished touch!
