Accepting Jesus as your Savior and choosing to make Him Lord over your life is the most important thing you can do in this life.
Jesus wants to have a relationship with every human being on this earth. That includes you.
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

Jesus died for each of us in order to provide us with salvation and every other good and perfect gift. We call that Grace- the salvation, provision, and love—because we don’t deserve it. Jesus did this for us before we knew or loved Him. And He continues to provide it even when we mess up.
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8:32
It’s easy to accept Jesus’s gift of salvation and grace. God’s Word promises, If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation…. For whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. Rom. 10:9–10,13
In other words, all you have to do is pray out loud, “Jesus, I believe you died on the cross as a sacrifice for my sins, and I believe that God raised you from the dead. I confess with my mouth that you are my Lord and Savior. I receive, by faith in your Word, the salvation and grace that you have provided for me. Thank you, Jesus for loving me and saving me!” The minute that you commit your life to Christ, the truth of God’s Word comes to pass immediately in your spirit. You are instantly a new creature, whole and complete in Christ. You are born again!
